85% mineral oil – paraffin type.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Akarzine® improves the action of the preparations by reducing the surface tension of the stock solution and creates a uniform film on the leaves of the treated plants and on the body of insects and mites, as well as their wintering stage (eggs).

ECOTOXICITY:

Acarzine® is non-toxic to humans and warm-blooded animals. There is no hazard of residues in the treated crops and soil.

COMPATIBILITY:

For winter treatment Acarzine® can be mixed immediately before use with Bordeaux mixture. It is not recommended to mix the preparation with sulphur-containing fungicides.

RECOMMENDED FIELDS OF APPLICATION:

Comstock (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus): 3% (winter spraying);

Winter eggs of red spider mite: 3% (winter spraying);

Cottony grape scale (Pulvinaria vitis): 2,5% (winter spraying);

Green peach aphid (Myzus persicae) in vegetables: 400 mL/dca

APPLICATION RATE:

In forest species: Acarzine® 50 mL/dca by ULV treatment;

In tomato, sugar beet, sunflower, soy, potato and beans: Akarzine® 80-160 mL/dca;

In fruit crops, raspberry, blackberry, rose and rose hips: Akarzine® (during the winter period) 3%;

In strawberry: Akarzine® (during the winter period) 0,8%;

Use with other plant protection products (PPP).

Insecticides based on diflubenzuron, spinosad and bacillus thuringiensis; fungicides based on copper hydroxide, copper sulphate, tribasic copper sulphate used outside the growing season in fruit crops, raspberry, blackberry, rose, rose hips and strawberry during the winter period.

Outside the growing season, the treatment with Acarzine® is done at temperatures above 4°C. Spraying with the preparation during this period is done up to 10-15 days before the development of fruit buds.

The use of Acarzine® in early spring limits the density of the red spider mite population below the economic threshold, which saves summer acaricide treatments.
